REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
What it can — and cannot — do.
Hair-building fibers make existing hair look denser by reducing the visible contrast between strands and scalp. They work best where there is still enough hair for the fibers to cling to.
They do not regrow hair and they are not a substitute for hair-loss treatment. Completely smooth bald areas usually do not give loose fibers enough structure to hold naturally.
APPLICATION
Use less than you think.
Start on dry, styled hair. Shake a light layer over the area, pat gently, then step back and check it in natural light before adding more. At the front hairline, keep the edge soft rather than creating a solid band of color.
For an active day, wind or humidity, a light mist of regular hairspray can help reduce movement and transfer. Avoid excessive brushing or touching once the fibers are in place.

Before you choose a shade.
How do I choose the right color?
Match the hair closest to your scalp, not sun-lightened ends. Check your roots in natural daylight. If you are between shades, a slightly darker match applied sparingly is usually safer than heavy application of a shade that is too light.
Will this cover a completely bald spot?
Loose fibers need existing strands to cling to. They are best for diffuse thinning, a widening part, crown thinning and similar areas where hair remains.
Will the fibers stay in during sweat or wind?
Real-world hold varies with hair, application and conditions. Fibers rely on contact with existing strands, so movement, moisture and repeated touching can reduce coverage. A light setting mist or hairspray can improve hold when extra security is useful.
Are they waterproof?
Think water-resistant rather than swim-proof. Light moisture may be manageable when the fibers are set, but shampoo is intended to remove them and heavy water exposure can reduce coverage.
How do they come out?
Wash normally with shampoo. This is temporary cosmetic coverage, so expect to reapply after washing.
